Code of Conduct Fair play. One player, one account.

Last updated: 31 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-31

Pre-launch draft. Operator details have been supplied; complete app privacy disclosures, purchase terms and production procedures still need to be finalised before launch.

01Every player, every mode

These rules apply across Career, Sit & Go, Cash Games, Tournaments and Private Rooms, on every supported device. Career is a personal journey against house characters, not other human players. Play your own cards on your own account and treat others fairly.

At registration you must confirm that you are 18 or older and explicitly acknowledge these rules and their consequences. They form part of the Terms of Service.

02Fair play at the table

  • Multi-accounting. One person, one account. Never use multiple accounts in a game, at a table or in a tournament. Accounts used on the same device must not enter the same table together.
  • Collusion. No sharing hole cards, signalling, teaming up or agreeing how to play a hand or tournament.
  • Soft play. Do not go easy on friends or partners, avoid competing with them, or check down hands as part of an arrangement.
  • Chip dumping. Do not deliberately lose coins to another account. A suspicious hand alone is not proof; decisions must consider context.
  • Bots and automation. No software, scripts or macros that decide, click or play for you. This does not prohibit the game’s own AI-controlled house opponents.
  • Real-time assistance. No outside solvers, trackers, HUDs or another person advising you during a hand. The game’s own odds calculator is allowed.
  • Ghosting. Do not use a live stream or broadcast of your table to learn hidden cards or other information unavailable to you in the game.
  • Bugs and tampering. Report bugs instead of exploiting them. Do not modify the game or network traffic to gain an advantage, inspect other players’ hidden cards or manipulate balances. Error-related winnings may be corrected.
  • Stalling. Do not deliberately run down the clock or disconnect to delay a table. Genuine connection problems are not, by themselves, misconduct.

03Random dealing and equal treatment

Every table in Midnight Crown Series of Poker uses Random Number Generation (RNG) to shuffle and deal the cards. Formal certification of the RNG will be requested soon; until certification is confirmed, this statement describes how the game deals, not an audited certification.

The RNG is built in five parts, based on what renowned RNG laboratories require:

  • An approved generator. HMAC_DRBG with SHA-256 from the NIST SP 800-90A standard. It is seeded from the operating system’s cryptographic source, re-seeded every hand, and runs a self-test against the official NIST test vectors at startup. On any failure, the table stops.
  • Fair shuffling. Unbiased Fisher–Yates, a full 52-card deck every hand, 256 bits per hand. The deck is sealed before dealing and the seed is shown afterwards, so every hand can be recalculated.
  • Server and game compute the same. The server module (Node.js, ready-made for the server builder) and the game use exactly the same calculation, so the “verify” button in the game also checks out online.
  • Test package for the lab. The NIST test vectors, statistical tests (chi-square on cards and positions across 1 million shuffled decks) and a script that produces raw output for Dieharder, NIST and TestU01.
  • RNG dossier. The document such a lab requests with an application, including the hashes of the source code.

Midnight Crown Series of Poker does not favour any player above another. Every player is dealt from the same shuffled deck under the same rules, and the house does not intervene to change, withhold or direct cards towards any account, table or outcome.

04Your account and the virtual economy

  • You must be 18 or older. Provide truthful account information, keep your password confidential and do not let someone else play on your account.
  • No buying, selling, renting or sharing accounts, or evading a restriction by creating or using another account.
  • Coins have no cash value and cannot be cashed out. No external sale or trade of coins, items or accounts for money or anything else of value, and no real-money wagering or settlement through private rooms. Official purchases, where available, are subject to the seller’s purchase terms.
  • Only use payment methods you are authorised to use. Payment fraud and knowingly false chargebacks are prohibited. Good-faith payment disputes, legitimate chargebacks and statutory refund requests are not misconduct.

05Respect, communication and privacy

  • No offensive, hateful or sexual usernames, and no impersonation of the team, administrators or another player.
  • No abuse, harassment, threats, hate, discrimination, sexual content, spam or advertising in chat, gestures or other communications.
  • Do not disclose another person’s private information without permission.
  • Report honestly. Knowingly fabricated reports are a breach; a good-faith report that cannot be substantiated is not.

06Review and protective measures

Suspicious activity or a player report is a reason to investigate, not proof of wrongdoing. Review should consider relevant context, including genuine connection problems, and sanctions must be proportionate to the evidence, severity and repetition of the breach.

The supplied fair-play framework envisages human review, a second team confirmation for bans or coin corrections, temporary separation of accounts and holds on disputed coins. These are review standards and planned safeguards, not a claim that automated detection, device linking, recording every hand, in-game checks or immutable audit logs are already operating.

Any monitoring or evidence retention must be accurately disclosed in the Privacy Policy. This code is not consent to undisclosed surveillance.

07Consequences of a breach

Depending on the breach, measures may include a warning, required name change, communication restrictions, correction of improperly obtained coins, temporary suspension until a stated date, permanent exclusion, or full deletion of the account. Serious breaches may lead directly to a heavier measure.

  • Offensive names or abusive communication: warning, name change or mute; repeated or serious abuse can lead to suspension or permanent exclusion.
  • Soft play: warning and proportionate coin correction; repeated misconduct may lead to suspension.
  • Collusion, chip dumping or multiple accounts in one game: coin correction and suspension; serious or repeated misconduct may lead to permanent exclusion.
  • Bots, prohibited real-time assistance or external account/item sales: permanent exclusion and, where justified, coin correction.
  • Bug exploitation: correction and warning, escalating to suspension or permanent exclusion for serious or repeated abuse.
  • Underage accounts or substantiated payment fraud: account closure. Linked-account measures require evidence of involvement or restriction evasion, not merely a shared network.

Where supported by reliable records, improperly obtained coins may be returned proportionately to affected players, never exceeding their loss; any remainder may be removed. Ordinary losses or legitimate winnings are not automatically confiscated.

By acknowledging this code, you understand that breaches can result in temporary suspension through permanent exclusion and full account deletion, normally without restitution of virtual coins, items, benefits or unused access. Virtual items are not redeemable for cash. This is not a blanket waiver of mandatory consumer rights: refunds or other remedies required by law remain available, including for purchased digital content or services.

08Notice, appeals and reports

Restrictions and final sanctions should be communicated with a reason and their duration where relevant. Immediate temporary protection may be necessary during a review. A human should review a disputed final decision and provide a reasoned response; the draft framework calls for a second team confirmation before a ban or coin correction.

Send reports, requests for the reason for a sanction, and appeals to info@midnightcrownseries.com. Include your username, the event or hand reference if available, and relevant details. Do not send passwords, verification codes or unrelated private information. Reports must be handled with appropriate confidentiality; absolute anonymity cannot be promised where disclosure is legally required.

In-game reporting, appeal buttons and automated case management are planned, not verified available features. Closure or deletion must not defeat a pending appeal or required legal record retention; relevant personal-data handling follows the Privacy Policy.
